So since Breckin has been fairly well versed on using a potty for quite some time now, I decided to bite the bullet and fully potty train him. We used the naked approach and bribed him with lots of treats! He learned really quickly that he did not like having accidents. As soon as he would start peeing on the floor he would come and find me and take me back to the scene of the crime and declare "adoo" (his invented word for all things potty)! We then rush to the toilet and finish up business, get a treat and then he would diligently get a rag and clean up his own mess, by choice I should add. For a while if I put underwear on him he would feel like he had a diaper on so we would often have accidents but now after almost two weeks we have had several accident free days! I think I can officially declare that he is potty trained, especially since he has started coming and telling us when he needs to go, instead of just going when I take him. I am so proud of our big boy! (or not so big, lol, at 20 pounds there are not many underwear that fit him, so we roll the waistband a few times!)
